Company E is the supplier of the raw material expanding its business at
global level having its headquarters in Japan.
Client's needs
Client wants to enhance its sales overseas, achieve uniformity in the system
of its sales subsidiaries at global level and improve its business.
Further, it wants to enhance the internal control system and build global
platform for compatibility with IFRS for the future.
Background of introduction
Selected SAP Business One was selected as it proves excellent in cost performance,
which is compatible with multiple languages and multiple currencies, also
makes the milestones clear to make it compatible with IFRS and at the same
time proves effective from the perspective of developing internal control
system.
In addition to it, since DWH which is currently in use is not that flexible
as it is of cube type. Therefore, Dr Sum which handles the detailed data
was selected.
Introduction details
Complicated business flow which varies from country to country was organized
at requirements definition stage to proceed with BPR. Then, global template
was created by taking Korea which was the first country of SBO introduction
as the model.
The plan is to develop addon system to link the financial journal data
of SAP Business One to DWH and expand it as global template to 10 sales
subsidieries worldwide.
